Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) is a federal government agency. Headquartered in the Atlantic Region, ACOA's goal is to improve the economy of Atlantic Canadian communities through the successful development of business and job opportunities.

Angel Network

Facilitating the linkage between local entrepreneurs seeking early stage capital and local angel investors. This Angel Network helps bridge the capital gap that exists between start-up and later stage funding i.e. venture capital.

Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC)

This is for entrepreneurs who are in the start-up or early growth phase of their business. They offer flexible, long term financing and consulting to small and medium enterprises and offers venture capital and subordinate financing to high growth firms.

Industry, Trade & Rural Development
